FAQ

How do I talk to it?
Through Telegram — message your personal kynikOS bot and it replies. The web dashboard at app.kynikos.ai shows your calendar, training data, and the full history of everything the assistant has done. Most day-to-day requests go through Telegram; the dashboard is for reviewing and browsing.
What can it actually do?
Plan and manage your week, push Garmin workouts calibrated to your recovery score from Garmin or WHOOP, book restaurants by phone in the local language, book flights and hotels, plan meals and generate a shopping list, send one morning brief that covers your day. It coordinates across all of these and tries to surface the right thing at the right time.
What permissions does it need?
None to start. You connect each integration explicitly — calendar, Garmin, Withings, WHOOP, travel, household — and every one is optional and disconnectable under Settings → Integrations. The assistant operates strictly within what you have enabled.
What do you do with my data?
We use it to operate the service — nothing else. We do not sell it, advertise with it, or share it with third parties beyond the infrastructure required to run the system. Your raw wearable metrics — sleep, HRV, readiness, activity, body composition — never reach any external AI; only derived categorical bands like “recovery: low” ever inform the assistant. Any data you give us can be exported or deleted on request.
Can I see everything it has done?
Yes. The dashboard keeps a plain-language history of every action the assistant took on your behalf — every booking placed, every call made, every message sent — and you can open, read, and search it. This is not optional transparency; it is central to how we think about human oversight of an AI agent.
What does it cost?
€20 per month. Try it free first. Heavy usage is capped at the subscription rather than billed as overages — if you are in a genuinely unusual spike, the assistant will pause rather than surprise you with a bill. We expect 99% of users to remain comfortably inside the subscription.
Does it work with Garmin?
Yes. Connect your Garmin account once and the assistant reads your activity data, sleep, recovery score, and training load. It uses this to schedule workouts recovery-aware, push prescribed sessions back to your Garmin device, and include a recovery summary in your morning brief. Withings scales and watches connect the same way. WHOOP connects too — recovery, sleep, and strain feed the same recovery-aware scheduling, though workout push stays Garmin-only for now.
Can my family use it?
A household can share a calendar layer and a shopping list. Partners and family members each have their own account and permissions — the assistant coordinates across household members only where you have explicitly enabled it. Shared dinner planning, shopping, and household scheduling are all supported.
How do I leave?
Email [email protected] and ask. There is no self-serve export or delete button yet, and we will not pretend otherwise — we handle a copy of your data, or deletion, by hand and promptly. Deleted data also ages out of our backups as they roll off, within about thirty days, apart from anything we are legally required to retain.
Where is it hosted?
Your database lives in Switzerland (Zurich), which the EU recognises as an adequate destination for GDPR data. We are incorporated in Estonia and treat GDPR as a floor, not a ceiling. Your raw wearable metrics never leave for external AI processing at all — only derived categorical bands do.
